Beach Bliss: Unveiling Bendalong's Coastal Gems

Bendalong is set on a magnificent jutting rock section known as Red Point; boasting pristine beaches facing all directions, you can select a beach favourable to the wind and swell conditions.

Washerwoman's Beach - Family and Pet Paradise:
Experience tranquillity at Washerwoman's Beach, where turquoise waters meet golden sands. Stroll along the shoreline, feeling the gentle breeze against your skin as seabirds soar overhead. 
 
Bendalong Beach and Green Island - A Surfer's Paradise:
Surf's up at Inyadda Beach, Bendalong, one of Australia's most renowned surfing beaches. Inyadda and Green Island are a haven for wave enthusiasts. Watch skilled surfers carve through the swells or join in on the action. Make it a surf retreat, stay on and check out the breaks at Mollymook and Bawley Point.
 
Boat Harbour - Nature's Haven:
Discover the nature paradise of Boat Harbour. Its crystal-clear waters and tranquil atmosphere make it ideal for snorkelling and swimming. Immerse yourself in the vibrant underwater world, look out for dolphins and see the stingrays from the shore.  Walk up to the top of the headland for a vista of the entire bay across to Jervis Bay, also great for whale spotting.  You are also sure to see kangaroos grazing in the camping grounds.

One Tree Beach – Seals Sailing:

This hidden beach is tucked away on the south side of Red Head Point, accessed from the walking track that loops from Boat Harbour to Inyadda Beach.  Enjoy the beach all to yourself, fossick in the rock pools and collect shells. Spot the seal colony sailing on the far side of the waves breaking on the reef from Autumn to Spring.   
 

North Bendalong - Secluded Serenity:

Hidden away in the national park, step down to Dee Beach for a tranquil swim and sunbathe. Explore the expansive rock pools and spot an octopus at Flat Rock Beach or dive in and snorkel around the rock ledge.

Monument Beach, named after the monument behind the beach dedicated to the lives lost in the shipwreck of ‘The Walter Hood’ in 1870. 

Take the Nerindillah Lagoon walking track and continue north to the south end of Cudmirrah Nature Reserve Beach to the Berrara Mermaid Pools, swim in the rock pool.
